Website Design + Ecommerce Social Assets

Role

Creative Direction Art Direction

dialog needed an online presence to pair with their stunning boutique designed by Wendell Burnette on Roosevelt Row in downtown Phoenix. Almost exclusively monochromatic, the space was designed to be an ever-changing playground of light and shadows throughout the day as people shop the unique furniture, concept shop, coffee bar and market. We created a robust e-commerce site built on Shopify, flexible enough to encompass their multi-faceted business model and future growth.

Looping logo animations brings dialog's flexible and ever-changing brand to life. Subtle bounce gives the evolving shapes character and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

dialog maintains a primarily monochromatic palette with a single energetic color used throughout sparingly for energy and emphasis. This focus reflects dialog's purpose in being a base for ever-changing items, events and conversations in the community.

dialog's monochromatic focus was applied to social assets as well, with the exception of the account avatar. Green was applied to create a visible outlier within social media, for quick account recognition even at small sizes.

With an exhaustive shape library already developed, it was perfect to use for application on social highlights, providing subtle texture and depth to the page. Story and post templates were explored with an emphasis on type, reflecting the styling applied throughout the site.
